The owner readily admits that a more aggressive approach to marketing is necessary to increase turnover, possible in the form of a leaflet drop to the houses in the vast surrounding area.


Turnover
According the owner the current turnover is in the region of £600 to £700 per week with the very high profit margin that this type of business enjoys.

Potential
The most obvious potential for this business is the utilization of the two rear therapy rooms, which are, decorated ready for complimentary activities such as a beauty room, nail bar, tanning salon, etc. (none of these services are currently available locally). Income could be obtained by employing extra staff or letting the rooms separately to self employed specialists on a daily or weekly basis. Sun beds are highly profitable and can be rented from the suppliers rather than bought outright if preferred. Other forms of income generation that are not currently being realised are the sale of hair (and beauty?) products, and the possibility of raising the prices charged for haircuts which are relatively low.

Trading Hours
The salon is open: 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5.30 on Saturdays.
